Job PurposeVueling is looking for a Configuration Control Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering department. You’ll be a subject matter expert in providing airframe components engineering support for the A320 fleet. Main AccountabilitiesFocal point for Materials issues at engineering level and projects, being the link between the Engineering team and the Supply Chain team. Support on AMOS materials issues for Engineering and Supply Chain team. Control of the aircraft configuration in AMOS. Keep the airworthiness of components and consumables. Provide specialist technical support for line/base maintenance activity and AOG recovery to reduce ground time and improve aircraft availability. Configuration control for structural and systems components to maintain fleet standardization. Drive business improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and efficiency. Assisting with AMOS data migration of ex-factory and second-hand aircrafts. Main Responsibilities - TasksCoordinate and lead the Configuration Control project in AMOS. Analyze PMA material documentation and lead the PMA process. Control of materials engineering standards in AMOS. Support daily operations concerning rotable replacements. Analyze components downgrades/upgrades in the fleet. Control and creation of shelf requirements for our Warehouse and tools for MROs. Do manuals and training related to materials processes that involve the Engineering team. Help the Structures and Systems team in CAMO tasks as required. Resolve aircraft inspection findings as part of the Technical Services team (ACAM, ARC, SANA, SAFA, etc. ). Main RelationshipsVueling Maintenance departmentVueling WarehouseFinance departmentMRO and mechanicsEducationEngineering Degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer certification are essential. ExperienceAt least 3 years of previous experience as an engineer role within a CAMO/Part 145 department is desired. Previous experience in Supply Chain materials management is valued. CompetenciesCapable of working in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High resolution and resolutive skills. High motivation, proactivity, and initiative skills. LanguagesEnglish: C1Spanish: C1OtherExperience with AMOS/Engineering is desired. Experience with IPC manuals is desired.
