Job Purpose: To act as Business Developer in Fabric (Azure Data Analytics) based in Barcelona or Madrid to drive the adoption and sales of Microsoft Fabric’s unified analytics platform by identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and delivering data-driven solutions that empower organizations to optimize their analytics and AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth in Azure Fabric products.
- Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company’s CRM system.
- Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipeline.
- Support execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
- Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
- Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and internal sales teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and in Data Warehouse applied in the cloud.
- IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, and Competition.
- Proficiency level of English and Spanish.
- Experience of SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantage.
- Telephone sales skills, customer focus, and excellent communication skills.
- Degree in a business-related subject is desirable.
- Ability to develop a knowledge of product and technology portfolio in Azure.
- Availability to do periodic visits to clients.
