Key Responsibilities
- Sales Qualified Opportunity (SQO) Management: Achieve quarterly SQO quotas and meet daily and weekly activity targets.
- Account Management: Handle a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify and target high-potential prospects.
- Customer Education: Educate potential customers on the company’s offerings and solutions.
- Outbound Campaigns: Execute daily outbound phone calls and emails, including cold calling. Engage with C-level decision-makers, build rapport, and assess business needs.
- Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and match these with appropriate cloud solutions to build value in the sales process.
- CRM Management: Update and maintain customer data in Salesforce.com, managing leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities.
- KPI Achievement: Work towards individual and team goals for productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline growth.
- Documentation: Document customer interactions and deal details thoroughly in Salesforce.com to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of customer engagement.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent level of German (C2) and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Sales Experience: Some experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development, preferably within the IT industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
- Business Acumen: Ability to align business needs with appropriate solutions, demonstrating strong business insight.
- Sales Skills: Experience in cold calling and managing a large portfolio of accounts. Comfortable working against sales quotas.
- CRM Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and a high level of professionalism.
- Motivation: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and competitive, with a tenacious approach to sales.
- Market Understanding: Knowledge of the local market and business environment in Germany.
