About the Role - The way we deliver training is changing forever. Fenergo’s Knowledge Management and Training (KM&T) team is seeking an individual who can help shape the way we deliver training in our ever-changing environment. This role is a new addition to an innovative and growing team. We need someone who can think outside the box to create compelling, interesting, and innovative learning experiences. The position requires a savvy individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Fenergo's Knowledge Management and Training Team is at the forefront of our company's success as it works collaboratively with all areas to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of our solution in order to design and develop training material for delivery to our employees, clients, and partners. This role will be client-facing and requires an individual who has excellent communication skills, is a self-starter, an innovative thinker, and someone who is passionate about training.
Primary responsibilities of the Technical Trainer include:
- Influence the continuous improvement of Fenergo’s technical training programme reinforcing a quality culture.
- Designing and developing learning content both for Instructor Led Training (ILT) and online for our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Delivering technical training on the company's software solutions for internal staff, partners, and external clients.
- Partnering with the business to roll out relevant technical and functional training programmes.
- Identifying training needs for clients, staff, and partners and developing appropriate solutions to address these needs.
- Ensuring that identified training programs are delivered successfully and following up on feedback to continually improve content.
- Maintaining the infrastructure used to deliver training, including virtual environments, software deployment, and associated documents and presentations.
- International travel to deliver training on-site in person when required.
- Developing product demonstrations/simulations and case studies.
- Designing training material including PowerPoint presentations, notes/handouts, and lab exercises.
- Designing and delivering e-learning solutions to align with our client, staff, and partner needs.
- Adhering to deadlines, project commitments, and deliverables.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
- Providing timely feedback on training content and incorporating it into current training documentation.
- Providing internal support and mentoring on projects.
- Managing training events from start to finish.
Requirements:

- Ability to work under pressured deadlines.
- Experienced trainer/content developer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with C# language and Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of Microsoft. Net framework.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
- Knowledge of Apache Camel route configuration and transforms.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry is an advantage.
- Source Control - Git / TFS.
- Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification.
- Microsoft Certification is an advantage.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
