ROLE SUMMARY
Are you a hungry, motivated individual who is focused on delivering results? BAT Iberia is looking for a new account executive who will be responsible for growing our distribution channels.
If you are target driven and have sales and account management experience, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Objectives and Expectations
- Open new distribution channels across convenience and forecourts within FMCG.
- Key Account Management and ownership (price, RTM, promotions, Stock Management, Wholesalers…)
- Incentives and sales reporting and tracking.
Impact of this Role
Deliver new sales with new categories (vapour and modern oral).
Ensure strategic SKUs distribution in different clusters.
Provide information and analysis data.
Reports to Vending Channel Manager.
Number of Direct Reports: 1
Core Relationships
Internal: Field Force, Trade Support and Brand Activation.
External: Suppliers, Operators and Clients.
Geographic Scope: Iberia.
Mainland Travel Required: YES (5%)
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- New business to secure new clients and FMCG groups.
- Budget control with suppliers and orders management.
- Present in different forums activities, post implementation reviews, tactic plans.
- Ensure database is updated and align with company requirements.
- Alignment with other departments as Brand, Trade, Activation, Supply to ensure new product launches, migrations or brand code updates.
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS standards and procedures BAT group.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required: At least 3 years’ experience in a new business and key accounts role in an FMCG company that has incorporated a trade channel and account management approach.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required:
- User knowledge of content editing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and also CRM).
- PowerBI, Sales Force.
- Good communication skills.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Critical and analytical thinking.
- Problem solving and making things happen.
- Proactive team working.
- Analytical capacity.
- Pressure management.
- Independent decision making.
- Strategic vision.
- Responsible best in class execution.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required: University degree. Master's degree will be valued positively.
Level of English: (both oral and written) = B2-C1.
