- Knowledge of existing and developing technologies.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Fluency in English; German and/or French preferred but not mandatory.
About the Role:
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including the public sector. The AWS Global Sales team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. In this full sales-cycle, quota-carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the segment manager to help define business strategy for customers.
- Identify new opportunities to drive business expansion in a defined territory.
- Develop and execute against a named account plan, meeting and exceeding your targets.
- Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically.
- Effectively manage a high volume of inquiries from new and existing customers.
- Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
