Job Description:
The Digital Transformation & CIIO Office area is responsible for enabling and accelerating the Digital Transformation Plan, covering Strategy, Communication, Transversal Programs Management, Portfolio, Change Management, Vendor Management & Procurement, and Cost Control Management and Governance.
In Ferrovial, we are looking for Program Managers with multidisciplinary skills, technical background, and strong experience in leading and managing IT Transformation Programs orchestrating multiple dimensions and stakeholders, requiring strong alignment with the technical teams.
One of the key strategic programs recently launched is the transformation of the core financial and construction processes enabled by the migration to the Cloud of the Core SAP and NO SAP applications requiring the management of multiple workstreams and teams within Ferrovial.
Functions:
Reporting to the Digital Transformation & CIIO Director, you will:
- Strategy & Communication:
- Define Program’s Strategy, Model, and Roadmap ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan and Digital Transformation Program 2024-2026 “Read IT”.
- Communicate the strategy and progress of the program both internally and externally.
- Define and implement the future IT Operating Model after Cloud Migration.
- Portfolio Management:
- Define and orchestrate a Framework including the characterization of initiatives related to the Cloud Transformation Program ensuring alignment and identifying potential synergies/dependencies between them and other strategic programs.
- Ensure alignment with Portfolio Strategy, Procedures, and Value Impact Model, defining and tracking specific KPIs, and monthly reporting of the overall status of the Program to the Executive Portfolio Committee.
- Governance and Planning:
- Define roles and responsibilities of the different areas involved in the Program.
- Define and implement a governance model with DGSII areas, business, and executive level.
- Define and track the overall Plan with all the different workstreams of the Program, identifying dependencies, critical path, risks, bottlenecks, and prioritization.
- Support Technical Execution:
- Support the technical teams in the definition and execution of the different initiatives of the Program.
- Support the governance of the technical implementation and orchestration of the different technical workstreams as required.
- Economic Follow-up:
- Identify the overall required resources of the program from every perspective, including transversal and monitoring of the program costs, identifying possible deviations and prioritization requirements, aligned with the overall Budget Process.
- Elaborate, update, and assure the Business Case aligned with the Portfolio Value Impact Model and required Investment Proposals.
- Vendor Management & IT Procurement:
- Support the identification and implementation of the vendor ecosystem and sourcing strategy necessary for the execution of the Program, in coordination with the technical and Vendor Management team.
- Maximize the exploitation of existing strategic agreements or identification of potential new partners for the program implementation.
- Digital Change Management and Adoption:
- Challenge & motivate for change in the envisioning phase to set the adequate level of transformation of the core processes and the definition of the final model and technical scenario.
- Identify user archetypes and ensure adoption during the implementation phase aligned with the change management and adoption playbook.
Requirements:
- University degree: Higher Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar).
- At least 10 years’ experience in managing IT Transformation Programs, especially with SAP technologies.
- Multidisciplinary management skills required: strategy, communications, cost control, vendor management, change management.
- A proven track record of leading strategic initiatives managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Technical background and knowledge on Cloud strategy and technologies.
- A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry-specific issues, competitor and vendor activity, and initiatives.
- Ability to present technical materials effectively to diverse stakeholder groups and to engage effectively with executives on both technical and non-technical matters.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Essential very high level / bilingual English.
