Maxeon is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Experience Design Manager as a critical member of the Product Experience team. In this role, you will be shaping Maxeon’s digital platform experience for our installer partners and design strategy from end to end. You will be joining Maxeon’s new and dynamic product team and work closely together with the teams developing our products and services and managing our partner channels. Your responsibilities include orchestrating user experience across digital and physical products, building Maxeon’s CX and UX capabilities and nurturing journey thinking within the wider organization. Additionally, you will be delivering outstanding, delightful experiences that strengthen the partnership with our installation partners and set them up for success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shape the end-2-end experience and design strategy for Maxeon’s brand new digital platform that plays a crucial role in building strong relationships with our installing partners and helps them to optimize their business processes.
- Translate new opportunities into engaging design concepts driven by customer insights.
- Work with state-of-the-art data, AI and product platforms and integrate them seamlessly into our customer experience.
- Work together with our Brand organization to integrate the Maxeon Brand DNA in every customer touchpoint.
- Manage suppliers and creative (design) agencies and assure that your concepts are implemented with the right quality.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research to identify unmet needs and desires.
- Nurture design culture within Maxeon’s organization.
- Manage stakeholders in order to ensure that every Maxeon experience fits within the envisioned end-2-end customer journey.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- You have a Bachelor/master’s degree (or similar field) in Product Design / Industrial Design.
- You have 8+ years in product design, UX design or related roles. Roles in B2B platforms, eCommerce or similar are preferred.
- You know how to set design direction, but can also deliver designs ready for implementation.
- You are a strong ecosystems thinker, being able to conceptually connect dots between interdependent models.
- You’re a self-starter, thriving in multidisciplinary teams and accepting constructive criticism as part of continuous improvement in the design quality.
- Your presentation skills and communication abilities are excellent. Regardless of whether the audience is internal, or external like installing partners or conference attendees, you can sell an idea clearly and confidently.
- Understanding the needs of the users of your services is an obsession for you.
- You can confidently lead discussions, promote design solutions and adapt design practices - convincing through narrative and rigor.
- You are familiar with the latest trends in digital design and familiarity with mobile-first designs.
- You have experience in collaborating with architects and developers, collaborating to reach the highest quality output.
- You have extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams and the Agile way of working.
