As Gopuff grows in the EU, we are seeking a seasoned and data-driven Pricing Analyst to help build and execute our pricing strategies. This role requires a strong sense for data analytics on top of having a self-starter attitude along with a strong business judgment and passion for customer experience. In addition, this role will have operational responsibility for the various aspects of our pricing systems enabling our business to test pricing strategies, assess product pricing against competitors, automate price setting based on well-defined strategies and test price elasticity across our product catalog. Success of this role is measured by our price competitiveness, pricing automation and price error rate. ResponsibilitiesDevelop operational efficiency for the EU Pricing function balancing a strong customer focus with profitability initiatives. Provide clear data analytical insights to business and retail category teams to optimize pricing based on current catalog selection and to help implement scalable pricing strategies. Drive and execute on multi-quarter roadmaps, developing and reporting on key pricing metrics. Engage with marketers, vendor managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and analysts to uncover insights and opportunities that shape your strategy and prioritization. Be proactive about customer needs, launching and driving projects to completion and success. QualificationsMaster’s degree/MBA in business administration, finance or equivalent field. 3 - 5 years of related experience in an analyst role within retail, finance, or a similar environment ideally in the internet and e-commerce industry. Strong analytical skills being highly proficient in Excel. Solid experience with data query/extraction on SQL is essential. Extreme attention to detail, and proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency. Affinity for using research, syndicated data, and consumer-specific insights to inform creative and productive decision-making. Strong communication and partnering skills - experience communicating product strategies and tradeoffs to diverse audiences. At Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
