Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and elevate the company's overall quality standards
- Manage supplier quality and MRB activities
- Handle customer complaints and ensure top-notch customer satisfaction
- Optimize product yield and quality throughout the production cycle
- Maintain and enhance the company's quality system, procedures, and audits
- Lead external and internal audits
- Oversee RMA activities
- Provide timely and impactful feedback
- Guide product development from R&D through production
- Stay current with new testing tools and strategies
- Develop and execute rigorous quality tests
- Define and implement CAPA, SCAR & 8D methodologies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant higher degree (ideally Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree)
- 10+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer/Manager in the automotive industry
- Solid people management experience
- Expertise in multidisciplinary products
- Experience with IATF-16949 standards, preferably in collaboration with R&D teams
- Lead auditor certification in ISO-9001 and AS-9100
- Profound knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading KAIZEN events
- Ability to create clear, concise Work Instructions and Procedures
- Familiarity with IPC-610, J STD -001, and other PCB and PCBA related IPC standards
- Proficiency in SPC, process control (Cp/Cpk, GR&R), and DOE techniques
- Experience with process validation and Automotive PPAP requirements
- Proficiency in analyzing YIELD and other KPIs
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer and supplier interactions
- CQE certification and Green/Black Belt preferred
- Willingness to travel (~ 50%)
- Fluency in English
