Responder al anuncioDetails of the role and how it fits into the team**The Quality Assurance function has the global mandate to confirm that all aspects of the internal audit activity are compliant with GA policies and standards, to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of GA’s activities and to identify opportunities for improvement. Reporting to the Head of Audit Quality (HoAQ), this role requires a team player, communication and coordination capabilities and requires working closely with different levels of GA staff and teams globally.
This position offers exposure to Audit Leadership across multiple divisions and locations and therefore offers great scope for career development. The Principal Auditor works on audits of a specific business/functional area/region, and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks. They will proactively develop and maintains professional consultative working relationships within their own function and with stakeholders inside and outside the bank and respective support areas. **Your key responsibilities**:- Group Audit Quality Assurance is seeking an audit professional at the Assistant Vice President level. The core responsibilities of this role are:- You will review audit documentation and audit results for compliance with methodology and adequacy of risk coverage, and lead QA reviews- You will review GA and QA procedures with the aim of improving effectiveness and efficiency- You will identify and highlight issues and trends that contribute to process improvement- You answer urgent ad-hoc requests independently and on your own responsibility- You will support the Head of Quality Assurance and work closely with GA Management,
as well as other teams in Professional Practices**Your skills and experiences**:- The applicant must have experience in an Internal Audit role covering financial services topics (Internal Audit Quality Assurance experience and/or Expertise in Investment Bank / Markets a plus). - Experience in advising stakeholders, a plus if from across multiple locations- Team working capabilities and an ability to build business and team relationships- Excellent English communication skills both oral and writtenOur values define the working environment we strive to create - diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
