Head of Sales Enablement

The Head of Sales Enablement is an integral part of the Global Sales leadership team. This role will rocket fuel and equip our sales talent with the critical knowledge, programming, and tools to successfully deliver value to our merchants and help them grow! The successful individual will work with our sales leadership all over the world to ensure sales organizational readiness and deliver improvements that drive sales effectiveness and revenue globally.
This exciting role has a significant impact and plays a pivotal role in Shopify-s continued growth.
**Responsibilities**:
Lead the charge on increasing efficiency, building processes, and creating training in sales.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and other teams to drive innovation, and actionable recommendations in all aspects of optimizing sales performance.
Own continual improvement of sales methodology, process policies, and organizational readiness in support of helping both Shopify and our merchants grow.
Provide thought leadership to design and implement a strategic global sales enablement plan that drives efficiencies, business growth and employee competencies.
Lead a diverse high-performing team to drive business results while fostering a collaborative environment and developing talent.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the revenue plan and KPIs, current performance, opportunities, and potential drivers of change.
Collaborate with global and regional sales leaders to identify training needs, content development, and plan delivery on a global scale.
Responsible for tooling adoption, program development, and management to motivate and drive performance, including recognition and contests.
Support and collaborate on regional initiatives. Provides feedback to increase team engagement
Lead and develop an executive-level summary of reports to support decision making and drive operational sales effectiveness globally
Provide accurate and timely target/objective updates to executive audiences that track progress on identified key programs
Establish a collection of on-going projects/programs core to our sales process that are maintained
Provide overall ad hoc sales experimentation and project support for the frontline sales teams.
Qualifications Experience in a sales and/or sales training senior leadership role
Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles, industry design and evaluation strategies
Strong business and financial acumen, strategic vision combined with ability to -get it done
- Proven ability to lead teams, using direct and indirect leadership and influencing strategies
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage many projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as demonstrated tenacity and persistence, with the ability to link activities to the overall strategy and utilize data to drive insight & decisions
