Job Title : HR Business PartnerDivision : Weir MineralsLocation : Europe, preferably Madrid, France, UK or PolandHybrid role, business travel requiredPurpose of Role : Working closely with the Regional HR Team and partnering with business stakeholders, the Human Resources Business Partner, HRBP is responsible for understanding the local business needs and then working with the Human Resources Director and HR team to ensure delivery of people initiatives that enable and support local business strategy in the assigned countries / functions. Key Responsibilities :People StrategyContribute to the local business strategy as a representative of the Regional HR Team. Report on progress against all key people indicators. Delivery of key people activities in support of agreed strategic and business oriented metrics. Fully support health, safety and environmental programs to provide a safe working environment, meeting all health, safety and environmental goals. Support wellbeing programs aligning with the wellbeing framework. Talent Acquisition and DevelopmentMaintain knowledge of the local talent market and use these insights to execute people strategies in consultation with WBS ( Weir Business Services). Directly involved in key appointments lifecycle activitySupports business stakeholders for development of talent, in line with identified needs from Talent Development & Succession Planning and Strategic People Planning. Support implementation of actions to enable achievement of ID&E goals. Organisation CapabilityEnsures people programs including Talent Management, Performance Conversations ID&E and Reward and Engagement are well understood and supported. Partner with specialists to ensure that Learning & Development is effective and builds the required levels of capability and competence to deliver the strategy. Organisation EffectivenessUse data and local business engagement to gain insights of the impact of management capability, culture, initiatives and behaviours on people to accurately diagnose organizational issues. Execute activities that are in line with employee / industrial relations strategy, including union agreements, awards, conditions of employment, trade union meetings and employer organisation matters. HR Service DeliveryEnsure the delivery of a high quality HR service to stakeholders (leaders and employees) across all business areasBusiness Partner with Weir Business Services , country payroll managers and Centers of Excellence as appropriate to deliver the Regional People prioritiesData & Data InsightsAbility to drive HR initiatives and business improvements from data analysisJob Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :Proven HR generalist experience in Europe within an industrial environment and has successfully developed and implemented people strategies and programs. Proficient in English and preferably also in French / Spanish. Comfortable in working in a modern operating model with aspects of outsourced or centralized business services, business partnering and centers of expertise. Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices and experience managing labor relations in Europe. Track record of delivering results and meeting commitments. Exemplifies strong cultural sensitivity and awareness and has implemented I, D&E strategies to build an inclusive culture. Effective presentation skills and the ability to present process change and complex data, cleanly and simply. Engages others to builds relationships across a diverse network with multiple stakeholders. Strong, flexible influencing skills to gain buy-in and drive impact. Makes decisions with confidence based on analysis of available information, awareness of stakeholder priorities and in alignment with objectives. Educated to at least degree level or equivalent.
