We are looking for an IT engineer to join one of our teams in theRoche Informaticsdivision.
In Roche Informatics we focus on delivering technology that evolves the practice of medicine and helps patients live longer, better lives.
You will provide customers and the stakeholders with seamless Identity and Access management experience supporting the Enterprise Identity and Access management solution. Your focus will be to provide efficient integration with all enterprise applications to ensure that we centralize access control for applications and systems including cloud resources.
You will also be responsible for the day to day operational escalations at T2/3 level with priority on focussing on root cause of bigger impactful problems and the continuous improvement of related IT infrastructure and technologies.
Your team:
As an IAM Engineer you would be part of a multicultural and global team focused on IAM technologies with SailPoint IdentityIQ mainly, protecting our information and assets from unauthorized access, security risks and cyber attacks.
Your key responsibilities:
- Participate in feature releases and bug fixes in our IAM tool workflow using Java and understanding the overall landscape.
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support. Operationally manage, support and implement the Identity and Access Management solutions with SailPoint IdentityIQ and its customizations with Java
- Participate in small sized technical teams and contribute to the end to end design of infrastructure solutions producing and maintaining sufficient documentation.
- Interact with internal and external partners on significant technical matters and contribute to determining success criteria and evaluation of promising solutions/technologies via Proofs of Concepts (PoC’s) and feasibility studies.
- Proactively monitor systems and platforms for performance, availability and capacity management and ensure that the solution and component escalations are minimized.
- Promptly responding to customer requests, resolve escalated incidents and implement changes, ensuring a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Understanding, implementing and following relevant concepts of ITIL, GxP and Project Management. These include Request Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Document Management, Qualification and Validation and Project Management.
- Actively focusing on own self-development and creating actionable plans to improve.
- Availability to provide 24x7 on-call support (approx 1 week every other month). Flexibility regarding working hours.
- Occasional international travel is required.
Your qualifications and experience:
- 5 Years experience in the IAM space.
- Must have strong hands-on JAVA development experience.
- Must have strong Identity Management methodologies, workflows, tool such as Sailpoint (Identity IQ) experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline or recognition of prior working experience, which is equivalent to industry accredited certification.
- Willingness to continually evolve, acquire and maintain the technical and soft skills appropriate to the requirements of this position and willing to cross-train in additional technical areas.
- Strong customer focus by taking a proactive, collaborative and supportive approach when interacting with colleagues.
- Adaptable to change in a large organization.
- Experience working in a major global organization, preferably in a regulated industry.
- English language is a must, negotiation and documentation skills.
