Junior AI Engineer
We are looking for an intern to work with the Distributed Artificial Intellgence (DAI) area on a temporary basis (6 months). The candidate will work on the TEADAL project within the research topic of "decentralized AI for distributed data architecture optimizations" alongside junior and senior engineers and team members. In particular, we are looking for a candidate to explore the application of decentralized AI techniques, such as Swarm Learning, MARL, etc. , to provide solutions that optimize the energy consumption of edge-cloud environments. Preference will be given to MSc students who want to do their MSc thesis (TFM) with the team. Learn how to perform a literature review of the topic, under the supervision of senior members of the teamDesign and implement a decentralized AI algorithm using state-of-the-art techniquesSet up experimental environments and perform experiments to evaluate the results of the implemented solutionsCollaborate with other team members on achieving the objectives mentioned abovePossibly collaborate on writing scientific publications based on the implemented work and achieved resultsWho we are:The i2CAT Foundation is a non-profit research and innovation center that promotes mission-driven R&D activities on advanced Internet architectures, applications, and services.
