Your RoleYou will be in charge of the designated portfolio of clients ensuring that all client queries and requests are processed and completed in a timely manner, efficiently and qualitatively. You will deal with local providers in Spain such as Notary’s officers, tax authorities, registrars’ officers and review the relevant drafts prepared by such providers. Also follow up registration and issues with registration of deeds, tax filing and other ancillary actions all in Spanish. You will process and review legal documents such as Mercantile Registry certificates, public deeds and/or agreements when the transfer in of a company in order to analyze the current situation of the company, possible issues that have not been resolved yet and prepare a corporate file. You will be collecting all KYC documents for clients, reviewing collected information and preparing relevant analysis as needed. You will review and update KYC files on a periodic basis depending on the risk assigned to such client. You will be assisting clients in annual AML audits and on local AML requirements. You will be involved in periodic reviewing of transaction profiles and risk forms and updating these if needed. You will be preparing Suspicious Activity reports, if needed. You will assist in coaching and developing team members for their individual advancement and for the benefit of the team, in so doing, foster and maintain strong team spirit and a healthy working atmosphere. You will maintain and develop multiple business relations with clients, Citco offices and other third parties. You will continuously review and make recommendations for improvements to the existing processes and procedures. You will follow changes in law in Spain which may impact service delivery and ensure that international and/or industry specific legal requirements are met. About YouYou have a University degree in law and 4-5 years relevant experience in the Legal field. You are a flexible individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent communication skills - fluency in English and Spanish is essential. You are experienced in KYC/AML/CDD or compliance. You are able to work successfully within a team as well as individually.
