Job Description:
Be responsible for identifying and creating growth in Healthcare IT (Enterprise Informatics) revenue and market share in Iberia, with a focus on Spain.
You will proactively work with sales activities towards new and existing customers as well as developing, qualifying, and closing profitable Healthcare IT deals.
Your Role:
- Providing technical and clinical expertise through sales presentations and product/solutions demonstrations to Customers.
- Identifying new deals well in advance in the assigned territory of Spain and building relationships with Customer’s key persons.
- Identifying possible competitors and their strengths and weaknesses.
- Establishing or maintaining relationships with current Customers and addressing their needs to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Formulating solutions for Customers by combining knowledge of Philips Solutions, expertise on hospital/clinic workflows, and Customer needs to build the best winning proposal.
- Informing and recommending customers about the latest technological innovations developed and associated configurations, including possible upgrades of the installed base, while addressing complaints and inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to achieving sales targets.
- Collating customer insights for new product introductions and competitive & market feedback.
- Participating in congresses, events, and team meetings in Spain & occasionally internationally.
- Providing accurate and transparent funnel management as part of daily activity using Philips Systems.
- Providing accurate and transparent forecasts and explanations when required.
- Being the knowledge expert on products/solutions, supporting Account Managers in driving overall business and product deal support by providing technical IT and workflow expertise on Enterprise Informatics Solutions across accounts.
- Supporting Account Managers and District Managers in achieving business goals.
- Providing the best solution configuration according to Customer needs and following business policy, pricing strategy, etc.
- Monitoring competition and changes in the industry and providing effective feedback to sales and marketing organizations, including suggestions for expanding product offerings.
You're the Right Fit If You Have:
- Previous experience in healthcare IT Sales/Business Development (successful Sales experience with emphasis on software and services sales or within healthcare).
- Previous Healthcare experience within Radiology workflow, Cardiology, or hospital IT department is seen as a big advantage.
- Good communication skills at different levels of the Customer’s organization.
- Ability to build strong relationships with Customers, being perceived as a trusted consultant on Healthcare IT.
- University degree. Engineering or IT preferred.
- A desire to continuously learn and follow industry developments.
- High level of business understanding and strong ability to understand the market and consult customers in all aspects, proposing adequate product solutions.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to achieve company goals and ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
- A strong team player with the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
