And at the European Shared Services Center based in Cornellà de Llobregat, with more than 300 employees, we support the group's various subsidiaries of all Europe and other regions. We have built an outstanding multicultural environment composed of employees from around 30 different nationalities.
We are looking for a Payment Specialist with English and Uzbek and/or Russian based in Barcelona.
The person will cover the EMEIA region and will be responsible for making timely payments and resolving discrepancies related to invoice payments.
You will be coordinating and liaising effectively with a wide range of clients including banks as well as internal customers from various departments.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and efficient professional with good attention to detail. Someone who enjoys working with numbers and also likes to investigate and find solutions. Every day is different, and you will learn SAP, one of the most widely used ERP systems.
As a Payment Specialist, you will:
- Process daily high volume of payments in a timely manner with great accuracy.
- Learn complex standard processes and apply those to detailed level problem solving to correctly resolve the query to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts and maintain reports.
- Perform KPI and Sox controls activities.
- Be a flexible team player who can provide backup where needed.
You will have:
- 2 years exposure to a Business/Office Environment preferably in Supply Chain / Finance function.
- Fluent level in English and Uzbek and/or Russian.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with task prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
- Team player with effective oral and written communication skills.
