Based in Affinity Monjos factory, the Planning and Inventory Manager will create a feasible supply plan for the factory driven through interpreting differentiated planning strategies, satisfying customer requirements, optimizing stock and asset. Will be responsible to manage co-packing at local level, dealing with cost and logistics of external co-packers and manufacturers. This position also is responsible to maximize the effectiveness of End to End (E2E) Supply Chain to achieve the highest level of customer service whilst optimizing factory planning and minimizing working capital.
What you will do:
- Manage all Affinity Monjos co-packing, dealing with cost and logistics of external co-packers and manufacturers.
- Distribution Requirements Planning / Replenishment:
- Determines and ensures execution of deployment strategies for Finished Goods: push vs pull.
- Understands and influences the planning parameters (In-House and External) and assumptions: production cycle time, sequencing, volatility.
- Derives Finished Goods (FG's) stock policy using inventory planning models by stock holding location.
- Determines gross requirements by distribution center or market.
- Understands warehouse and transportation capacity planning.
- Manages and influences customer relationships: Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
- Understands the customer requirements in the short term: lead time / min max stock.
- Agreeing Constrained Supply Plan:
- Conducts effective dialogue on assumptions and articulation of facts and evidence.
- Optimizes production and inventory to deliver the demand plan.
- Negotiates and influences the decision making process.
- Understands and manages the functional and individual biases.
- Determines and agrees key outputs: constrained supply plan, costed supply plan, inventory plan.
- Raises future capacity and stock issues.
- Determines continuous improvement plans and raises for discussion in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting.
- Daily interface and problem solving with multiple internal and external logistic groups, receiving, inventory control, transportation, freight forwarders, maintenance personnel, and vendors.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably industrial organisational).
- Knowledge of SAP, data analysis and inventory management.
- High level of English.
- Environmental awareness training.
- Knowledge of Internal Emergency Plan.
- Knowledge of all Plant production systems (Unloading, Mixing, Slurry production, Extrusion, and Packaging).
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience in a similar position. Professional experience in industrial plant, preferably in the food sector, is an asset.
