Senior DevOps (AWS) Engineer
Our DevOps team plays a key role in developing the infrastructure and essential platform components to support the cloud transformation of the Materialise Software portfolio. Help create and improve Materialise's current DevOps landscapeCollaborate with all software development squads to support their needs regarding continuous integration, automatic testing, delivery, and deploymentAlign and collaborate with DevOps engineers in other business unitsDevelop reference implementations, PoCs, and examples of DevOps best practicesShare experience on DevOps with the software development squads to allow them to create/maintain their own build, release, and deployment pipelinesDesign and create components of the DevOps ecosystem (pipelines, build machines, artifact repositories, VMs, etc. )Design and develop scripts to automatically create cloud infrastructureConfigure monitoring/logging/alerting toolsYour profileA master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalentSolid understanding of the development lifecycle of cloud-native applications in a micro-service architectureExperience with Linux and Windows servers including system administrationAt least 3 years of experience with DevOps, including the set-up of CI/CD pipelinesAt least 3 years of experience with AWS and its main services: EC2, ECS, EKS, EBL, route53, S3, IAM, CloudWatchExperience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or similarThorough insight into container technology like docker and its use for deploying applications as well as its use in CI/CD pipelinesSolid experience with bash, PowerShell, AnsibleKnowledge of networking and networking infrastructure, including security aspectsKnowledge and preferably experience with observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and distributed tracingInsight into the security aspects of software developmentStrong communicator with an enthusiastic nature and passion for DevOpsExcellent English writing and verbal communication skills are requiredLocation and type of contractFull-timeHybridMid-senior levelShare on:Materialise is a dynamic, international high-tech company, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Belgium, with over 2, 300 employees worldwide.
