Position overview:The role of the Senior Commercial Manager is to lead commercially and strategically important accounts in Spain and Portugal, both with existing and new potential customers, maximizing all opportunities to drive profitable growth and ensuring efficiencies across all our touch points. This role will be delivering best in class customer meetings and building customer relationships with key personnel and functions and ensuring all our internal touchpoints are giving the highest level of customer service to major accounts, engaging with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver this. The position is the expert in the customers' market and understands their environment and proactively works with them to drive collaborative and engaging relationships. Key responsibilities include:Managing our accounts for the company and P&L delivery alongside the Commercial DirectorLead and support in negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring effective KPI driving commercialityNetworking within these accounts in order to secure all business opportunities and devise account strategy with Commercial Director and Global teamsEnsuring internal company functions work to deliver highest customer serviceHolding regular monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholdersInvestigating and resolving queries and issues raised by customersTaking a proactive approach to customer management and being proficient in Sp&Pt market trendsWork with Commercial Director to devise and implement sales strategySetting key performance indicators internally and externallyEmbrace and lead the delivery of packaging sustainability in these customersKeeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriateWhat are we looking for? Degree-level in a Commercial or Business discipline or relevant expert experience in this fieldPrevious strong experience in Sales or customer supply chain management in FMCG/Packaging/Retailing with a proven track recordExpert knowledge in account managementSome knowledge of sustainability practicesNative Spanish & Fluent English, Portuguese would be a plusBall Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
