Within the Operations department of AXA XL Iberia, you will join the Middle Office team that aims to provide a high-quality service for our clients, creating and activating insurance coverage on complex risks. As Senior Underwriting Assistant you will provide support to Underwriting teams and ensure that the administrative processes for the end-to-end policy lifecycle are run efficiently at a high quality to serve internal and external clients. DISCOVER your opportunityYou will be responsible for:Contracts handling in an efficient and correct way for new and established Casualty businesses:by checking the conditions of acceptance of the customer’s request, interacting with the customer if necessary, using various available data sources to make the right decision and give the right advice to the broker/clientby following up until contract signing or refusalby developing draft contracts/amendments that fit with customer needsby modifying coverage concepts if desired by the client/brokerby preparing contracts which are beyond authority and discussing them with the team leaderby monitoring, planning, and issuing contractual documents (policies, endorsements, and certificates)Support Credit Control team in the cash allocation for accounts and the monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums. Manage information:preparing and sending weekly reportspreparing premium flowspreparing and sending local policies instructionscontrolling Gross and Net portfoliocontrolling data qualityDevelop expert level knowledge with regards to our tools for the implementation of Global Programs. Follow up new guidelines published for policy administration and Global Programs management. You will report to the Team Lead Casualty - Operations.
