How you'll make an impact
The Vendor Manager is responsible for the strategic recruitment and management of global suppliers who provide services in over 100 languages, ensuring available resources for all projects at all times and working side by side with internal teams to guarantee operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Impulse technology and processes proper implementation with a scalability and efficacy perspective.
- Identify potential roadblocks and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in the localization and translation industry, applying new approaches and tools as needed.
- Drive initiatives to maintain a healthy pipeline of candidates by leveraging existing sources and proposing new ones.
- Assess vendor qualifications and experience.
- Guarantee compliance and adherence to ISO requirements.
- Work alongside the Quality team and the Technology Team to seek improvements in day-to-day operations.
- Lead vendor engagement initiatives.
- Promote internal communication to align needs, priorities, and expectations.
- Generate relevant reporting of the department and complete thorough analysis.
- Adhere to written comprehensive recruitment process.
- Reach rate agreements.
- Submit blind CVs upon internal teams' request.
- Renew and update rate agreements with existing vendors.
- Maintain vendor profiles updated within our platform at all times.

- Effective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish are mandatory.

Background
- 2 years of vendor management, human resources, administrative or translation related roles in an international environment.
- Previous experience within the translation industry is a must.
- Recruiting background is a plus.
- Experience in roles that demand strong negotiation skills.
- Demonstrates respect for and appreciation of different cultural perspectives.
Formal Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Translation or related field or at least 3 years of experience in a similar industry.
