What you will doSolve complex problems at scale cross teams, owning the software architecture and technical designsDevelop data processing pipeline used to build high definition map for autonomous driving systems using cutting-edge technologiesDevelop data processing platform providing services to feature teams building high definition map and 3D mapProvide technical leadership and expertise, acting as a force multiplierEnable your team for success through interaction with the technical community at an organization levelDrive the technical decisions to improve engineering, test, and operational excellence best practicesParticipate to all phases of the project lifecycle gathering requirements, designing solutions, building new interfaces, integration with existing architectures, development, and testing codeBuild scalable, highly available and resilient applications by utilizing the optimal cloud technologies and programming languages and frameworks that best suit your use casesSupport hiring for team vacancies, and investments into team and product healthWhat you will needBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 8+ years of equivalent experience in at least one object oriented language (Java, Scala, C++, Python, . . . )Proven ability to learn new languages and technologies, and lead others in acquiring new skillsComfortable with written and / or verbal communication in EnglishStrong Computer Science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis. Strong knowledge and practice of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsExperience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offsExperience building scalable, distributed, production software systems with an understanding of design for performance and reliabilityExperience working with data processing tools / frameworks and cloud technologiesThis position is based in Spain.
