Job Purpose: Reporting to the CHRO and supporting the Site Manager, this role leads the delivery of full employee lifecycle from hire to retire including talent and workforce planning. In the short term, this will involve hiring and ramp-up efforts to support the operations for the site.
Main Accountabilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, from requisition to contract and onboarding.
- Deploy medmix ATS for site hiring.
- Assess suitable platforms for job postings and post jobs internally and externally.
- Drive employer branding initiatives in location in coordination with Global HR teams to support the rapid personnel growth and the site ramp-up activities.
- Establish an employee referral program. - Payroll:
- Supervise contract changes and ensure correct execution of the payroll.
- Perform functional checks and position grading.
- Drive annual salary review process. - Employee Support:
- Advise line managers and employees in all personnel and employment law topics.
- Conflict management for both managers and employees equally.
- Handle disciplinary cases (agreements, warnings, terminations).
- Support employees in the event of long-term illnesses/accidents.
- Assist employees and line managers with questions regarding the systems and HR processes. - Learning and Development:
- Implement a meaningful training catalogue, including mandatory trainings like compliance, safety, etc.
- Elaborate development plans for employees and track their progress.
- Conduct exit interviews, create reference letters in collaboration with line management.
Desired Experience:
- At least 10 years of relevant market experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing industry environment. Experience in automotive/plastics industry will be preferred.
- Experience in having led a ramp-up or a greenfield setup within a modern HR organization in an international environment.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety and labor relations.
- Understands different cultures and can effectively act in a multi-cultural environment.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a structured and proactive working attitude, strong work ethic.
- Ability to form strong professional relationships and build trust on all levels.
- Can-do attitude, proactive mindset, ability to cope with ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish - written and verbal.
Location: The position is based in Albal, Valencia, Spain.
