We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join the division of Industrial Gases in Spain who will be based in Catalonia, Spain.
The successful candidate will be focused on developing measurable results and increasing the business in the regions of Catalonia, Aragon, Levante and Balearic Islands.
Main Functions:
- Maximizing sales volume and profitability within the assigned region
- Identifying and understanding the customer's application requirements
- Carrying out market research and conducting ongoing customer visits
- Market mapping and identification of key customers
- Collaborating with the team and utilising Donaldson's existing network to open new business opportunities
- Researching the best technical solutions based on customer needs, preparing presentations and other documents
- Ensuring that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are successful for the company and its customers
Profile:
We are looking for a motivated and sales-oriented individual, with previous experience in technical sales, and who is used to working independently.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in technical sales within an industrial sales environment
- Technical engineering or higher studies
- Preferably located in Barcelona area
- Availability to travel within the assigned territory 70% of the time
- Fluent in Catalan, Spanish & English
- Knowledge of compressed air, industrial gases and filtration will be highly valued
