We are looking for a: Warehouse Improvement Leader
What you will do:
The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor position at JCH EU is to oversee and manage the logistics operations within a warehouse facility operated by the 3PL. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with the 3PL provider to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, while also maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with other departments to fulfill customer orders. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor may be involved in optimizing the warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and minimize costs.
Responsibilities include:
- Own warehousing operation performance for Central Distribution Center and UK Spoke through management of our 3PLs.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving 5% year on year savings through a bottom-up approach.
- Quality: Setup and manage good practices to ensure the quality of our Products.
- EHS: Setup and manage good practices to ensure the safety of our People and Products.
- Forward planning with relevant stakeholders to ensure operation meets business requirements.
- Ensure close communication with relevant team members to facilitate On Time, In Full Delivery to drive Customer Satisfaction.
- Own warehouse operation performance metrics and issues resolution.
Location: Masquefa
What we are looking for:
- Min 7-10 years of experience managing 3PL warehousing operation performance for the Industrial sector, Diploma or Degree holder.
- Able to lead and drive CI activities through LEAN methodology and familiar with implementing and maintaining tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping.
- Understands and able to conduct Root Cause Analysis and drive proper Corrective and Preventive Actions for Quality and EHS matters.
- Able to lead and coach employees. 3-5 years of People Management experience is preferred.
- High level of English.
- Familiar with Oracle 11i.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization.
- Good leadership backed with strong analytical skills.
