The EMEA Prospecting Coach Role
We are looking for a Prospecting Coach to coordinate training activities that will help maximize our business development team's performance. Responsibilities will include mentoring new hires, designing and implementing a skills development initiative that is always-on, prescriptive and programmatic to meet the needs of the business for both individual development plans and team training needs.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience leveraging modern approaches to prospecting in a B2B market, that leverages AI and sales productivity tools to achieve scale but is balanced with the importance of soft skill development and value-selling targeting key accounts and buyer personae. This role will need to have a good understanding of the sales process and motivate employees of varying seniority. You will help our team develop their skills to achieve their quotas and career progression goals.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:
- Act as a consultant to business development representatives.
- Onboard and train new hires.
- Identify individual and team training needs.
- Develop educational material, including presentations, talk tracks and case studies working cross-functionally to tailor according to the needs of role.
- Design and deliver outbound demand plays that activate key business objectives and buying agendas in market, leveraging gamification, role-playing and job simulation to assess digestion and the strength of our market positioning in real-time.
- Gather feedback on all training initiatives from trainees, managers and stakeholders.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide feedback and guidance on their performance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance product knowledge, objection handling and business value.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to provide relevant and up-to-date prospecting advice.
We're looking for a teammate with:
- Work experience as a sales coach, sales trainer or similar experience in a sales role responsible for generating new business leveraging inbound demand and outbound cadences.
- Hands-on experience creating presentations (videos and slides).
- Familiarity with role-playing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people and work across organizations including product, marketing, sales and customer success.
