How to contribute to our vision
Your role will include:
- Analyzing the loads and dynamics of the wind turbines according to the design standards.
- Preparing the wind turbine models for aeroelastic calculation and performing loads simulation using aeroelastic codes.
- Preparing loads reports for design and certification of the wind turbines at the fleet.
- Solving problems related to wind turbine dynamics of the fleet and providing directions for solutions.
- Specifying tests for the verification and validation of loads in real wind turbines, supporting the execution of validation tests, and analyzing results from loads measurement tests.
- Cooperating in the design of control, operation, and safety strategies, evaluating and verifying the wind turbines' loads.
- Cooperating with the team lead in the specification and development of new technical procedures/methodologies or tools needed to improve team performance and knowledge.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
- An Engineer Degree in Aeronautics, Mechanical, Structural, or Physics.
- A background in Aeroelasticity with around 5 years of relevant technical experience and solid knowledge in loads calculation related to wind turbines.
- Experience with one or more of the following programs: GH Bladed, BHAWC, FLEX, or NEREA, and additional training in wind energy.
- Knowledge of wind turbine design standards IEC61400-1 and DNVGL.
- Experience in data handling for machine operation analysis, ideally wind turbine data analysis.
- Familiarity with rotor changes and repowering loads assessments.
- Experience with multibrand platforms will be an added value.
- Knowledge about loads assessments with site-specific conditions.
- Experience with the certification of wind turbines.
- Proactive, a good team player, persistent, self-driven, with good communication skills.
- Programming skills in C++, Python, VBA, MatLab, or Octave, with full professional competence in English.

The main mission of the loads engineer is to prepare, analyze, and evaluate.
