Job DescriptionThe ITSM Tooling Expert will provide support to maintain, update, and improve the ITSM tool (Assyst). The ITSM tooling expert will work closely with the ITSM Tooling lead to gather any new or changed requirements from the product lines to update the ITSM tool to fit support requirements. The tooling expert will also be accountable for updating the tool as required from the Service Management team, reflecting any changes in ITSM processes defined. This role will provide support to the Service Desk agents to resolve any incidents or issues with the ITSM tool itself. This includes coordinating with each service desk on ITSM tool downtimes required for tool upgrades. TeamTech Enablement aims to provide optimal and flexible enterprise IT process and tooling to enable seamless tech experience across Adevinta. Objectives of this area include: Automate, standardise and streamline; Fit-for-purpose, flexible systems; Ensure data integrity and consistency; Leverage insights to drive strategic decisions. In this role, you will :Develop new configurations for ITSM tool (Assyst), including service offerings, forms, and processes to support the product lines. Coordinate with IFS on any new Assyst upgrades, raise any incidents regarding the ITSM tool and gather known workarounds for issues. Gather changes / new requirements from Service Desk agents to improve functionality, use of the ITSM tool. Provide training on the ITSM tool to newly onboarded support staff and product teams as required. Identify improvement opportunities for the ITSM tool and service catalogue. Qualifications :Who you are :5+ years in the ITSM tool space, with focus on IFS Assyst tool. Experience with Assyst ITSM service catalog and API integrations with other systems. Qualifications on ITIL4 are a must. Qualifications in SIAM Agile or DevOps are a plus. Experience with JavaScript, Web technologies are a plus. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence without hierarchical power. Excellent stakeholder management skills at multiple organisational dynamics. Empathic for cultural sensitivity and differences. Ability to interact with others respectfully and courteous manners. Ability to manage conflict situations without immediate escalation mode. Ability to work in a structured and accurate manner. Ability to be open minded and work constructively in team collaboration. Proactive and assertive personal traits. Willingness to participate in escalation duties. Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with others in the spirit of common objectives. Communication : Ability to interact with all levels of the business, exceptionally good listening skills, ability to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
