THE ROLE
In this role you will support the regional sales goals by being responsible for bringing our ‘one stop shopping strategy’ for our customers to life via excellent Sales Service. You will continuously manage and build customer relationships and be the ‘one face to the customer’ for all operational aspects.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establish close and trustful working relationship with customers
- Order capturing, management, review and checking of product availability
- Invoice and shipping documents management and proactive information flow to customer
- Control and ensure order execution & fulfilment at all levels of the order delivery process in alignment with central Export Operations Team and supply chain
- Inform customers proactively about product availability, product updates (phase in/out) & product launches
- Prevent out of stock situations at customer level, where possible, offer alternatives
- Customer master data and price maintenance via Business Partner Integrity Solution (BPIS), e. g. set-up of new customers or delivery locations, Annual AIT Compliance Certification process
- Price Master File administration, control and coordination
- Recommend the best mix between market needs and product availability
- Claim management and coordination of returns
- Monthly sales reallocation process for key account customers in alignment with central Export Operations team
- Travel to key account/customer location, if required, to build a strong working relationship
- Initiate best practice sharing and aim for continuous improvement
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Language skill requirements: English fluent (written and spoken), additional languages are an advantage
- Subject related University degree or completed commercial apprenticeship
- Experience in customer service or fresh graduate with positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good knowledge regarding international trade, logistics, payment-& Incoterms, commercial/export documents and respective business implications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to details, positive mindset with strong service orientation and a can-do attitude
- Strong organizational skills & team player, able to operate within a dynamic and international team environment
- Resilience and keeping a cool head under pressure
- Experience preferably with SAP R3 SD & MM (group of transactions in SAP) and BPIS
