As a Mobile Private Network Senior (MPN) Access Design Engineer, you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:
- Provide high level design of the Access Network for MPN
- Define the reference RAN configurations for MPN products, including MPN specific SW functionalities.
- Support process definition for the delivery of customised solution in collaboration with VBPS and ND
- Define MPN specific Radio configurations for the Vodafone RAN suppliers
- Define the optimal parameterisation to maximise network performance, in collaboration with the RAN optimisation teams in Mobile Access and ND
- Manage technical acceptance and life cycle of the RAN configuration and related SW functionalities, including the correct interworking with MPN/market specific core/TX design.

- Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT
- IP networking expert
- Very good knowledge of 3GPP Radio Protocols and mobility procedure
- Inter-functional relationships
- Ability to meet the deadline and project definitions, supported by good decision making skills
- Knowledge of radio access technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G)
- Knowledge of networking techniques, with main reference to IP
- Knowledge of radio equipment and sw functionalities and parameter
- Knowledge of 3GPP protocols
- Management of complex customised solutions
