Responder al anuncioGrow with usAbout this opportunityWe are looking for a Developer Team Leader for one of our teams in the Product Development Unit for Packet Core (PDU PC). The PDU PC is an area responsible for the development and maintenance of the Ericsson Packet Core portfolio. The unit was formed in and has developed the 2G, 3G, 4G, and now 5G Packet Core. The PDU has main sites in 5 countries globally: China, Hungary, Germany, Spain, and Sweden. The Development Group unit in Madrid (DG AO) is specialized in Analytics & Optimizations. We develop, release and maintain best-in-class traffic management, optimization and analytics service functions reusable across PC Gateway and Multi-Service Proxy portfolio. The expectations include:Senior developer roleDrive Strategic Technical LeadershipTake part in and understand technical strategies for own product areaStay informed about industry practices and professional / technical developmentAlign technology strategies with product and technology developmentTechnical reference within the teamHold the team accountable for its goals aligned with the organization and operational strategy (SFA)Facilitate split of work and tasks to improve team productivity and KPI alignment (Quality, Lead Time, Predictability)Delegate tasks and responsibilities within team membersEncourage solutions for barriersGuide the team through the feature development process flexiblyEncourage further division and grouping of user stories in minimum deliverable blocks (in coordination with Product Owner)Develop & Test high-quality ProductsSenior active contribution to product evolutionMaintain architecture for products, solutions, systemsKnowledgeable in several technical areasDrive Continuous Improvements of products and processesDrive and promote CI of products, services and processes, as an integrated part of the development workInitiate and drive improvements in own organization, drive innovationMain XFT interface towards line & other teamsFacilitate communication within and outside the teamUnderstand and coordinate the relationships and dependencies with other teams and rolesUpdate progress of activities, raising attention points and proposing solutions or corrective actions when neededProvide feedback to management about competence development needs and other factors influencing team performanceSoft SkillsGood balance between technical, communication & leadership skillsCapable to act and take decisions and risks when uncertainty and/or unexpected changing contextAct as a mentor and coach for colleagues with less experienceCurious & Positive attitude; Effective at conflict handling; Results orientedCompetence background in the DPI & Policy domain, the business requirements, and the technical challengesYou will bringA bachelor’s or equivalent experience, master’s, or doctorate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or related fieldsExperience programming in C/C++ and at least one scripting language (python, shell/bash, or similar) on UNIX/LinuxExperience in TCP/IP Networking, data networks and IP-based applicationsCapacity to investigate and debug complex issue investigationsGood written and spoken English, confident working in international environmentsDesirable knowledge of cloud environments: Docker, KubernetesDesirable advanced Linux user and network administratorDesirable experience in configuration of network equipmentWhy join Ericsson?
